While Nate’s on Marsh is 2,242 miles away from Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky, the San Luis Obispo neighborhood restaurant will host its third annual Kentucky Derby Day Watch Party on Saturday, May 4th.
Regarded as the “most exciting two minutes in sports,” the 150th Derby’s traditions will be on full display. The Michelin Guide Mentioned restaurant says guests can expect an unforgettable experience with an open bar featuring hand crafted cocktails and top shelf selections, California-focused wine and beer, and hors d’oeuvres. Specialty Derby Day for the festivities include Mint Julep, Brown Derby, Oaks Lily, Blackberry Mint Julep Margarita, Horses Neck and Kentucky Flatliner while Derby tastes will be Modern Bruschetta, Crab Cakes, Prosciutto & Brie, Muffaletta, Pastrami Sliders, Antipasto, Prawn Cocktail.
