The San Luis Obispo Public Market is welcoming a new resident. Rambling Spirits, a distillery, bar, and restaurant, held its sneak peek this weekend with the grand opening coming soon.

Jon Carpenter and his wife, Ariette Armella, call the Rambling Spirits project “an ode to their home state and its people.” With years of experience in the food and beverage industry, Rambling Spirits will include small bites and drinks inspired by personal stories. A preview of the house cocktails present flavor combinations of vegetables and fruits combined with gins, whiskeys, vodka and more.

“In every spirit we produce, we capture the flavors of the Central Coast’s rocking waves and rolling hills,” Ariette said. “We pride ourselves in steadfast dedication to hard work, fervently striving for perfection in our craft.”
