Don’t Miss Out On SLO’s New Fall Ice Cream Flavors

Negranti Creamery
Paso Robles

Alexis Negranti, owner of Negranti Creamery, says that they are debuting three new flavors for fall: Cinnamon Honey and Apricot Crisp; Harvest Pumpkin; and Maple Pecan. Don’t forget to snag one of their coveted Pumpkin and Gingersnap ice cream sammies from the freezer.

Nite Creamery
San Luis Obispo and Santa Maria

Nite Creamery has released its Pumpkin Spice Latte (#PSL2020, y’all) flavor and it’s being sold “while supplies last.” ‘Tis the season! If you can’t grab a scoop or two, don’t worry: your consolation prize is Salted Caramel, and it’s nothing short of amazing.

Doc Burnstein’s Ice Cream Lab
San Luis Obispo, Arroyo Grande and Santa Maria

Doc Burnstein’s Mexican chocolate is a rich cinnamon chocolate treat that uses traditional Ibarra Mexican chocolate and the secret ingredient of Kahlua coffee liqueur. The shop’s S’Mores flavor, meanwhile, features marshmallow ice cream generously studded with graham cracker crumbs and fudge marble. “The only thing missing is a good ghost story to make your trip complete,” Doc’s website says, and we can’t help agreeing. In a couple weeks, the lab will release its new pumpkin flavor. You can even grab an “ice cream flight” of all three fall flavors in three mini waffle cones.

Avila Valley Barn
San Luis Obispo

Avila Valley Barn wins for having the most seasonal flavors, including Apple Strudel, Caramel Apple, Cinnamon Cream, Eggnog, and Pumpkin. If you’re feeling a bit glum about less events this holiday season, doctor’s orders to grab a pint of each. We can guarantee you’ll feel better in the morning.

If you love chocolate chip cookies and oatmeal cookies but always have trouble picking just one, you’re in luck. Harmony Valley’s Tom Halen says that you can find the new seasonal fall flavor, chocolate chunk oatmeal cookie, at the Scoop Truck in the Town of Harmony on Saturdays and Sundays. From the looks of it, this is a flavor we want all year round.
