Tinned Fish & Rosé Highlights ‘Single Ingredient Dinner’ Series

When we first started telling people we wanted to have a ‘tinned fish’ dinner, the reactions were either very skeptical, or very enthusiastic ‘I LOVE TINNED FISH!’ replies – and nothing in between. So we held our breath and hoped there were enough tinned fish lovers to show up.

And show up they did! The Edible food community came out in support with hunger and eager tastebuds. To be able to host a dinner like this is thrilling, and to see it sell it out and have such an all-star lineup make it happen, is wholeheartedly why we do this. From Top Chef Sarah Hauman, who flew in from Portland just for the event and cooked an incredible tinned fish dinner thanks to her company The Tin Fish Co., to the super swank pairings of L’Aventure Wine and non-alcoholic wines NON World; and of course, the truly amazing home we were all able to enjoy, Hacienda Robles Estate, thanks to our hosts Bob and Susan Mascall. Everything was so beautiful.

Thank you, readers, for joining us and making these kinds of memories happen. And to our event partners who continuously support us — we could not pull off these dinners without you: Amanda Holder Events event production; Chef Rachel Ponce and Chef Candice Custodio kitchen team; Criú Hospitality service team; Manuel Medina lighting and sound; Anna Takahashi and Jenna Hartzell design; Butlerz Event Rentals specialty rentals; Brown Butter Cooking Co. and NON World parting gifts. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you.
